The Process Of Getting Your License Back In Victoria

In the state of Victoria, first-time drink driving offenders who have already paid the fine may retrieve their license. The process of getting your license back may be simple but stringent.

1.    Make an appearance at your local Magistrates Court.
2.    Lodge an application for license restoration,
3.    Pay the current applicable fee amounting to $81.90.
4.    The Court will set a hearing date 28 days after the date your application is lodged.
5.    Complete a Drink Driver Education Course and attend a police interview, which is usually scheduled a week prior to the date of your hearing.
6.    Attend the Court hearing and present evidence that would support your application for license restoration.
